On May 26, the fist review of 2017 The 7th "Liu Kaiqu Award" International Sculpture Exhibition was held in China Sculpture Insitute in Beijing, which was themed "Transformation·Creation". By May 14, the Art Committee had received 997 proposals by 487 artists from 33 countries and regions, including 75 foreign artists and 412 Chinese artists.
After reviewing all the proposals, the judging panel selected 47 pieces of works that consisted of 36 Chinese works and 11 foreign works. Together with 10 fixed invitational works and 5 special invitational works, the 47 works will be exhibited in the upcoming Marquette Exhibition. The Second Round review· 2017 TRANSFORMATION·CREATION The 7th "Liu Kaiqu Award" International Sculpture Marquette Exhibition will be held in August in Wuhu.
